Museum Thursday Ballard Locks & Botanical Garden
In Seattle, the first Thursday of every month means that museums across the city offer free admission! Each month, we’ll be hosting a trip to a local museum or park to explore the history and culture of Seattle! For May, we’ll take a trip to the Ballard neighborhood to see the Ballard Locks and Botanical Garden! Learn about the engineering behind the locks, the history of the salmon migration, and enjoy the beautiful garden and visitor center! Learn more here: https://ballardlocks.org/carl-s-english-garden.html
Admission will be free and you have the choice to meet us at the park or take public transit from Northeastern’s campus to the park with Sam Nussbaum (about 35 min). Spots are limited to 15 students, please register ASAP! I will send a follow up email the week of the event with additional details about the museum, transportation, and parking!
