CPS Happy Hour Series

Jasmine Wilkerson serves as Director of Data Science with KenSci Inc., a Healthcare Platform and Predictive Analytics company. She combines diverse experience in both academic research and applied data analytics with mastery of the challenges of the healthcare space. At KenSci, she leads the data science team to build machine learning solutions and platform to tackle complex healthcare problems. This work helps healthcare providers on the front lines to save lives and improve health outcomes, while also empowering administrators to eliminate waste and inefficiencies within health system. Prior to joining KenSci, Jasmine worked as a dedicated research scientist with the University of Washington to explore relationship of environmental exposure and genomics with respective to health outcome. She later joined Xerox – Global Health Division and worked closely with state agencies to develop population health interventions based on machine learning insights.  She will be sharing knowledge of opportunities and challenges of ML in healthcare.
